Sidra Medicine Launches Women’s Private Home Visits: Midwifery Care Program

New private service provides expert postnatal care for mothers and newborns in the comfort of their homes

Doha, Qatar – 04 August 2026: Sidra Medicine, a member of Qatar Foundation, has launched its Women’s Private Home Visits: Midwifery Care program, a new private service that extends expert postnatal care beyond the hospital. The program provides eligible mothers and newborns with personalized care from experienced midwives in the comfort of their homes.

The service supports maternal recovery, breastfeeding, newborn care, emotional well-being, and early identification of any concerns during the first weeks after birth. It is designed to provide families with greater convenience while ensuring continuity of care after discharge from Sidra Medicine.
