Health Literacy Escape room

Event Details

Date: September 4th, 2025 – Thursday
Time: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: Patient Simulation Room (2C-300)

Concept

Participants will work in teams to solve 6 puzzles/questions, each linked to aspects of health literacy. For every correct solution, teams will receive one letter. Once all six letters are collected, they must rearrange them to reveal the conference theme word.

Types of Questions / Activities

1. Find the word
2. Guess the name from emojis
3. Solve scenarios

Instructions

• Teams must have 3 members.
• One member of the team will act as the team leader and register on behalf of the team.
• Members can be from different departments.
• Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time.
• Late arrivals will not be allowed to participate.
• Be sure to register with your team’s name and time slot!

Game Flow

• Each team will have maximum 30 minutes to solve the escape room puzzles.
• Teams that guess the word successfully will “escape” and complete the challenge.
• The two fastest teams to escape will be declared the winners.
