Dr. Qaisar Choudry is a Senior Attending Physician in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery at Sidra Medicine, having joined the institution in December 2024. Born and trained in the United Kingdom, he brings extensive experience in pediatric orthopedics, including fellowships at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry, UK, and a trauma fellowship at the AO Center in Stuttgart, Germany.
Prior to joining Sidra Medicine, Dr. Choudry served as a Pediatric Orthopedic Consultant at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust in England from 2012, where he also held the position of Chief of the Orthopedic Department for nine years. His clinical interests include developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH), cerebral palsy, sports-related knee injuries, and complex pediatric trauma.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Choudry is actively involved in research and medical education. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, is a faculty member for numerous international orthopedic training courses, holds an Honorary Lectureship, and is a member of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
