Dr. Walid Mubarak is one of approximately one hundred fellowship-trained pediatric interventional radiologists worldwide. He is trained in both adult and pediatric interventional radiology and joined Sidra Medicine in 2018.
He completed his pediatric interventional radiology fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), University of Toronto, Canada. At Sidra Medicine, he serves as Senior Attending Physician, Program Director of the Pediatric Interventional Radiology Fellowship, and Clinical Lead for Adult Interventional Radiology Services. He also chairs the Vascular Access Committee and leads the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and Continuing Medical Education (CME) working group.
Dr. Walid’s clinical practice includes vascular and airway interventions, oncology, vascular anomalies, and pediatric and women’s interventions. With additional training in healthcare management, he is committed to quality improvement, risk mitigation, and advancing patient-centered, minimally invasive care.
