Pankaj Sakhuja

Dr. Sakhuja has over ten years of experience as a Neonatal consultant. He joined Sidra Medicine in November 2022 after serving in UK hospitals like Great Ormond Street and University College London Hospital.

With a passion for neonatal intensive care, his career spans over 20 years in various centers of excellence, including Singapore, Australia, the U.K., Canada, and Bahrain.

He is keenly interested in fetal and maternal medicine, neonatal hemodynamics, and Neonatal transport & networks.  He’s adept at managing critically ill neonates with complex medical and surgical conditions.

At Sidra Medicine, he leads neonatal deliveries and intra-facility transport. He actively contributes to the neonatal hemodynamic group, neonatal-perinatal fellowship program, and Qatar’s National Neonatal Network.

His academic work includes research in Hemodynamics and Endotracheal Tube tip positioning. His contributions to high-impact journals include original research, editorials, metanarrative reviews, case reports, book chapters, and letters to the editor, showcasing his dedication to advancing neonatal care.
