Wessam Nabeih

Dr. Wessam is an Attending (Consultant) Physician in the General and Obstetric Anesthesiology department with more than 24 years of experience as an anesthesiologist. He worked at Guy’s and St Thomas, and Kings College Hospitals in London and Ipswich General Hospital (UK) before joining Sidra Medicine in 2018.

Dr. Wessam provides high-standard anesthesia care for the women of Qatar and provides pain relief for labor using epidurals as well as anesthesia for operative deliveries (e.g., Cesarean Section), together with anesthetic management of gynecology surgery, plastic surgery, and IVF procedures using both general anesthesia and sedation techniques. He also provides anesthesia care for children above six for various procedures (e.g., Orthopedic surgery, urology surgery, intervention radiology, and general surgery.)

Dr. Wessam has a vast experience in all fields of anesthesia, including oncology, orthopedic, ENT, and major bowel surgeries, mainly in the UK (16 years).
