Yawar Nissar

Dr. Yawar Nissar is a Specialist in Plastic, Craniofacial, and Hand Surgery at Sidra Medicine, where he has been practicing since June 2024. He provides comprehensive surgical care for a wide range of pediatric plastic and reconstructive conditions, including congenital hand anomalies such as syndactyly, trigger thumb, and camptodactyly, as well as post-burn and post-traumatic contractures.

His clinical expertise includes general plastic surgical procedures such as skin grafts, local and regional flaps, excision of cutaneous and subcutaneous lesions, scar management, and the management of hand trauma involving tendon, nerve, and fracture injuries. Dr. Nissar also performs advanced procedures including cleft lip and palate repair, ear reconstruction and otoplasty, laser treatment for scars and vascular malformations, rhinoplasty, gynecomastia correction, and ptosis surgery.

Prior to joining Sidra Medicine, Dr. Nissar worked as a Registrar in Plastic Surgery at Government Medical College, Srinagar, India, where he gained extensive experience in reconstructive, hand, and aesthetic surgery.
