Olanrewaju Sanusi

Chief Financial Officer

Olanrewaju (“Lanre”) Sanusi is the Chief Financial Officer of Sidra Medicine, bringing more than 30 years of senior international financial leadership across healthcare, government-funded institutions, and multinational organizations.

In her role, Olanrewaju provides strategic leadership for the organisation’s financial stewardship, sustainability, and governance. She works closely with stakeholders to strengthen long-term financial resilience, enhance transparency, and align resources with institutional and national health priorities.

Olanrewaju has extensive experience leading complex finance functions, including multi-year financial planning, capital strategy, revenue cycle transformation, digital finance modernization, corporate finance, treasury management, and governance.

Prior to joining Sidra Medicine, Olanrewaju held senior executive and board roles including Group Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director at Hygeia Nigeria Limited and Hygeia HMO Limited, a leading integrated healthcare and health insurance group in West Africa; Finance & Supply Chain Director for Pfizer’s East, Central, and West Africa region; and Group Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Finance and Corporate Services at Eat n Go Limited, overseeing operations across Nigeria and Kenya. Across these roles, she led fundraising, restructuring, and strategic expansion initiatives spanning healthcare, telecommunications infrastructure, consumer businesses, banking, investment management, and multinational corporations.

Olanrewaju holds an MBA in Management from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW).
