Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC)

Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) is the public provider of primary health care services in the State of Qatar. As a key pillar of the national health system, PHCC is committed to delivering accessible, high-quality, and person-centered care that emphasizes prevention, early detection, and the long-term management of health conditions.

PHCC currently operates 31 health centers across the Central, Western, and Northern regions of Qatar. Services include Family Medicine, Women’s Health, Child and Adolescent Health, Mental Health, Dental and Oral Health, Wellness, Chronic Disease Screening, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology, Home Healthcare, and more—ensuring continuity and comprehensive care for all patients.

PHCC’s Corporate Strategic Plan 2024–2030, titled “The First Choice for Our Community’s Health,” is aligned with Qatar’s Third National Health Strategy and the National Development Strategy. It is structured around three pillars: population-centered care, service quality and accessibility, and system sustainability and resilience. Strategic initiatives focus on expanding the Family Medicine Model, promoting virtual and community-based care, and empowering individuals through health literacy and education.
