Tania Farah Houbous is a social worker with over 15 years of experience in the social work field. For the past eight years, I have been working at Sidra Medicine; my work involves supporting patients through their treatment journey, addressing emotional and social challenges, collaborating with Multi-disciplinary teams to promote holistic patient care.

Provides comprehensive clinical counseling with individuals, families and groups by focusing on the child’s and family’s social, emotional and cultural needs, including adjustment to diagnosis and treatment decisions, loss of function, and dealing with emotional and family crises in the context of evidence based care.

I have also been working at the teen clinic with the eating disorder population and provide Family Based therapy to adolescents diagnosed with Eating disorders and their families
