The Simulation Faculty Workshop by Sidra Medicine is a three-day interactive faculty development activity designed to strengthen the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence of healthcare professionals who plan, facilitate, and evaluate simulation-based learning. Hosted by Sidra Medicine’s Simulation Center and Life Support Training Programs, the workshop combines focused teaching with discussion, video-based learning, hands-on practice, case development, simulation technology, and guided facilitation and debriefing exercises.

The workshop will cover simulation foundations and cue-based learning and realism including psychological safety, SimZones, and debriefing methodologies. The practical sessions will allow participants to build scenarios, use human patient simulator software, select appropriate simulation modalities, facilitate simulated activities, and reflect through faculty-led debriefing.

The workshop supports consistent, learner-centered simulation practice and promotes safe, constructive, and engaging educational experiences that can contribute to teamwork, communication, clinical learning, and patient safety.
