Overview

The Future Doctor Program is a structured, five-day immersive experience designed for secondary school students who aspire to pursue careers in healthcare. This is an opportunity for the students to learn from leading clinical and technical experts at Sidra Medicine.

Hosted at Sidra Medicine’s state-of-the-art Simulation Center, the program offers hands-on exposure to clinical environments and medical practices through simulation-based learning.

Objectives

  • Multi-Station Hands-On Training: Students engage in realistic clinical scenarios using advanced manikins and simulation technology.
  • Live Clinical Exposure: Participants rotate through various departments to observe and interact with healthcare professionals.
  • Skill Development: Includes basic life support, CPR, and first aid training accredited by the American Heart Association.
  • Career Exploration: Students gain insight into different healthcare professions and pathways.
