Dr. Qaisar Choudry joined Sidra Medicine as a Senior Attending Physician specializing in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery and Trauma in December 2024. Born and trained in the UK, Dr. Choudry is an experienced orthopedic surgeon with over 20 years of clinical expertise. He previously served as a Pediatric Orthopedic Consultant and Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, England, for nine years.

Dr. Choudry completed pediatric orthopedic fellowships at Robert Jones Agnes Hunt Hospital, Oswestry, UK, and an orthopedic trauma fellowship at AO in Stuttgart, Germany. He has a particular interest in developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH), cerebral palsy, sports-related knee injuries, and complex pediatric trauma.

Actively engaged in medical education and research, Dr. Choudry is an honorary lecturer and a member of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers of Edinburgh. He regularly contributes to medical literature and has received notable recognition, including the Jacques Duparc Award for best presentation at the EFORT Congress.
