Dr. Mohammed Al-Alousi is a highly experienced Pediatric Anesthesiologist and currently serves as the Acting Chair of Anesthesia at Sidra Medicine. He joined Sidra in September 2017 as an Attending Physician and was promoted to Division Chief in 2021.

Dr. Al-Alousi specializes in pediatric anesthesia and has extensive experience in managing both acute and elective cases requiring tertiary care. Prior to joining Sidra Medicine, he spent five years as a Pediatric Anesthesiologist at University College London (UCL) and Royal Free London Hospitals, following the completion of his anesthesia and subspecialty training at UCLH, London.

He is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of medical professionals and advancing innovative, patient-centered care. His professional interests include quality and service improvement, as well as enhancing efficiency and safety in the delivery of anesthesia services. Dr. Al-Alousi is dedicated to leading the department in alignment with Sidra Medicine’s vision of becoming a center of excellence.
