Amrita Sarpal
FRCPC, MD
Senior Attending Physician | Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
Years of Experience: 17
Dr. Amrita Sarpal joined Sidra Medicine in February 2019 as a senior pediatric critical care attending, bringing dual expertise in pediatric critical care and pediatric palliative care medicine. Prior to that, she practiced as a pediatric intensivist at the University of Western Ontario for approximately six years.
She is the subspecialty fellowship program director for Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Sidra Medicine. Her clinical and academic interests include improving patient care through enhanced communication – including better Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems – and advancing palliative care.
