    Amina Kamal, MSc, is a Clinical Psychologist working in the Women’s Mental Health Service at Sidra Medicine, in her clinical practice, she delivers cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatments in Arabic and English, to women during their perinatal period, with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and adjustment problems, such as anxiety, stress, depression, and relationship problems.

    She has had the privilege of witnessing dramatic transformations using CBT in patients with various disorders. She is eager to apply her experience and compassion with patients as they begin to address issues that will help them to improve their quality of life and attain a sense of fulfillment.

    She completed her clinical psychology training at a Psychiatric Hospital in the GCC, alongside her training she worked with in and out- patients, carrying out psychometric assessments and therapy, attend rounds, lectures, and work with Psychiatrists to carry out high quality patient care. She then worked at a privet clinic in Qatar offering psychotherapy to a wide range of cliental of all ages. She is also a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society and is licensed by Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners.
