Who We Care For
Our pediatric rehabilitation team supports children from infancy through adolescence who face challenges related to:
- Cerebral palsy
- Muscular dystrophy
- Brachial plexus injuries

Our Services and Clinics
General Rehabilitation Clinic
Provides diagnosis and comprehensive management of children who are born with or who develop difficulty with movement, or severe musculoskeletal problems. We advise on the best strategies to help children develop optimally including the need for physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy, the use of orthotics, braces, or other equipment, medication management, school enrollment, and parental education.
Spina Bifida MDT Clinic
Provides comprehensive Multidisciplinary management of children with spina bifida or other spinal cord injuries.
Movement Disorders MDT Clinic
This clinic helps children with spasticity (muscle stiffness) or dystonia (involuntary movements) who have not responded to medication or standard therapy. Treatment options include advanced surgical interventions such as:
- Selective dorsal rhizotomy (SDR)
- Intrathecal baclofen pump therapy (ITB)
Children with cerebral palsy are the most common patients seen in this clinic, though others with similar movement challenges may also benefit. This clinic can only be accessed through a referral from Neurology, Rehabilitation Medicine, or Neurosurgery.
