Dr. Hillal Ahmad Bhat is a Surgical Specialist in Plastic, Craniofacial and Hand Surgery at Sidra Medicine. He joined the hospital in February 2022 and brings over 11 years of experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Bhat’s clinical practice focuses on the management of hand trauma, including both acute and chronic injuries, as well as congenital and acquired hand deformities. He also treats a wide range of plastic and reconstructive conditions, including cleft lip and palate, skin grafting, flap reconstruction, and nerve and tendon injuries. His particular interests include microsurgery and complex hand reconstruction.
Prior to joining Sidra Medicine, Dr. Bhat worked as a Senior Resident in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) in Soura, Jammu and Kashmir, one of the leading tertiary care centers in North India.
