Dr. Areeg Ahmed is a Specialist in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at Sidra Medicine with more than 10 years of experience in the diagnosis and management of malignant and non-malignant pediatric blood disorders. Her clinical expertise includes solid and liquid tumors, benign hematology, and bone marrow transplant–related care. Dr. Ahmed trained and worked across leading tertiary centers in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Sudan, including Hamad Medical Corporation and King Abdulaziz Medical City. She completed advanced fellowship training in pediatric hematology and oncology and is actively involved in multidisciplinary care and service development.
