A Licensed Professional Counselor in both the State of Illinois, USA, and the State of Qatar. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Concordia University Chicago and is nationally certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC-USA).
At Sidra Medicine, Manal provides culturally sensitive therapy for children, adolescents, women, and families. Her clinical approach integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and the Gottman Method for couples and families. She is also trained in perinatal mental health through PSI-USA.
Manal offers Islamic-based psychotherapy for clients seeking faith-integrated support, aligning therapeutic goals with spiritual and cultural values. As a mental health advocate and educator, she actively contributes to psychoeducation, clinical supervision, and community mental health awareness initiatives in Qatar and internationally.
