Wisal Salih, MSc., PGDip, BSc(Pharm), BSc(Chem), RPh, is a Canadian pharmacist and diabetes educator with immense enthusiasm and commitment to providing effective and optimal health care. She is currently a senior lecturer at the College of Health Sciences at the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST). She has 17 years of experience in a dynamic professional Pharmacy and Health Education Practice and worked as a Pharmacy Manager with Sobeys Pharmacy Group and Lawtons Drugs in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She has earned a BSc. in Chemistry from Saint Mary’s University and a BSc. Pharmacy from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She has also earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Diabetes (Distinction) and Master of Science degree in Diabetes (Distinction) from the University of South Wales in the United Kingdom. She has a Certificate in Adult Education, a Certificate in Curriculum Development and a Certificate in Teaching and Developing Online Courses from the Canadian College of Educators, Ontario, Canada.

Ms. Salih worked as the Head of the Patient Care and Health Technology Department at UDST [Previously College of the North Atlantic – Qatar (CNAQ). She was involved in the development of the Master of Science in Diabetes Care and Patient Education (M.Sc.DCPE) Program and the Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Technology Program at UDST. She is skilled in precepting and training Pharmacy Technology and Diabetes Education students in the professional and practical aspects of the professions.
