Duane Wong is the Director of the Allied Health at Sidra Medicine.
A respected leader in pediatric respiratory therapy, Duane has made significant contributions to advancing interdisciplinary care, clinical excellence, and global knowledge exchange in pediatric healthcare. With an academic foundation from Thompson Rivers University (TRU) in Canada, where he also served as Clinical Site Coordinator and Adjunct Professor. His early leadership at the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at BC Children’s Hospital positioned him as a key figure in shaping clinical practice standards for critically ill children. Currently, Duane plays a vital role in developing and implementing allied health strategies at Sidra Medicine, fostering collaboration across diverse clinical specialties. An internationally recognized speaker and educator, Duane has presented at national and global conferences, including engagements with the Canadian Neonatal Network, the International Respiratory Therapy Training Program, and professional societies in Canada, the United States, and China.
