Referral Guidelines
Electronic Referrals Only
Sidra Medicine now accepts electronic referrals only. Paper-based referrals are no longer accepted.
Non-Government Entities
Private hospitals, clinics, schools, and medical centers must submit referrals through online referral form or mobile app.
Please ensure all required fields and clinical details are accurately completed to avoid processing delays.
Referral Criteria
Healthcare providers should refer to the Physician Referral Guidelines for detailed service criteria. Only patients who meet the outlined clinical indications for Sidra Medicine’s tertiary care services will be accepted.
Patients who do not meet the clinical criteria or whose care falls outside Sidra Medicine’s tertiary scope may be:
- redirected to PHCC or HMC for primary or secondary care, or
- offered care at Sidra Medicine on a self-pay or insured basis, subject to appointment availability and financial counseling.
Referral Triage and Scheduling
Once a referral is received and triaged by the relevant clinical team, schedulers will contact the patient directly to confirm the appointment and provide next-step instructions.
