Overview

RAPID 2026 focuses on primary and genetic immune dysregulation from a multidisciplinary perspective. This year’s theme is “Frontiers in Diagnostics for Primary Immunodysregulation Disorders”.

The in-person conference is organized in collaboration with The Isil Berat Barlan Academy (IBB) and the Universal Scientific Education and Research Network (USERN).

The conference is particularly well suited for basic and clinical researchers actively working in the field, as well as clinicians involved in the care of patients with inborn errors of immunity (IEI), also known as primary immunodeficiencies (PID). It will also be highly relevant to clinicians from a broad range of specialties who provide care for these patients, including Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology, Pathology, Pulmonology, and Rheumatology.

Participants can expect comprehensive updates on the latest clinical and research advances, making this event ideal for those who wish to stay at the forefront of developments in immune dysregulation.

RAPID 2026 will also host an IBB Master Class on Inborn Errors of Immunity, which will have CPD points.

We encourage participants to register for the early‑bird registration discount, to secure their place.

Conference Objectives

  • To improve early recognition and diagnosis of Primary Immune Dysregulation Disorders/Inborn Errors of Immunity in the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey (MENA-T) region
  • To illustrate the contribution of a range of clinical/pathology specialties and research to the diagnosis and management of Immune Dysregulation
  • To provide an update on advances in cutting-edge and translational research in Immune Dysregulation
  • To undertake a MENA-T Delphi process to achieve consensus on key PIRD/IEI recommendations

Target Audience

  • Clinicians (physicians, nurses) and scientists (research scientists, clinical scientists, technologists) who treat, test, diagnose, or study patients with primary/genetic immune dysregulation disorders.
