Overview
On behalf of the Asian and Oceanic Society for Pediatric Radiology (AOSPR) and Sidra Medicine, we announce the Silver Jubilee Annual Scientific Meeting of AOSPR, hosted by Sidra Medicine in Doha, Qatar, from October 23 to 26, 2025.
Since its establishment in Tokyo in 2000, AOSPR has grown to include over fifty countries. This meeting is the first in the Middle East and highlights Qatar’s role as a host.
The event will gather radiologists, radiographers, and researchers to discuss advancements in pediatric radiology over two days, covering topics like molecular imaging, interventional radiology, and artificial intelligence. There will also be a one-day postgraduate course on pediatric imaging and a social program showcasing Qatar’s rich culture.

Topics/Sessions
In addition to sessions covering all aspects of pediatric radiology, there will be:
- The Albert Lam Lecture given by Professor Linda Moy, Editor of the RSNA journal “Radiology”
- The inaugural Mutsuhisa Fujioka memorial lecture given by Kath Halliday, President of the Royal College of Radiologists (UK)
- A joint chest imaging session of the World Federation of Pediatric Radiology (WFPI) and International Society of Paediatric Thoracic Imaging (ISPTI)
- A symposium on Artificial Intelligence and the future of pediatric radiology
- Invited speakers from all the other major worldwide pediatric radiology societies including ESPR, AfSPI, SPR, SLARP, WFPI, and the European Society of Neuroradiology.
Conference Objectives
- Illustrate basic pediatric radiology through didactic lectures.
- Describe the most recent advances in pediatric radiology.
- Outline the future of pediatric radiology and utility of artificial intelligence.

This is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Category 1) as defined by the Ministry of Public Health’s Department of Healthcare Professions-Accreditation Section and is approved for a maximum of 22 hours.
