Dr. Sandra Sapia joined Sidra Medicine’s Hematopathology Division as a Courtesy Staff member in 2018. She is primarily affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine–Qatar, where she serves as an Assistant Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. At Sidra Medicine, Dr. Sapia provides expertise in bone marrow pathology and flow cytometry diagnosis, while also contributing to educational and research initiatives within the division.
Before Sidra, Dr. Sapia served as a Consultant Hematopathologist at Örebro University Hospital in Sweden and Vinalopó and Torrevieja Hospitals in Spain. She is deeply involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and presentations for international scientific meetings.
