Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Suliman Ghazi Suliman is an Attending Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist at Sidra Medicine with more than 18 years of experience. He specializes in anesthesia for children with congenital heart disease and complex cardiac conditions, with expertise spanning pediatric and adult cardiac surgery, interventional cardiology, perioperative echocardiography, and advanced recovery protocols.
Dr. Suliman graduated from the University of Nottingham and completed his anesthesia training in the United Kingdom. He pursued advanced fellowships in adult cardiac anesthesia, cardiopulmonary transplantation and ECMO, pediatric and neonatal anesthesia, and congenital cardiac anesthesia at Manchester University Hospitals, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Imperial College Hospitals London.
Before joining Sidra Medicine, Dr. Suliman worked as a Consultant Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist at Leeds Teaching Hospitals in the UK. His academic interests include fast-tracking in cardiac surgery, perioperative coagulopathy and transfusion strategies, point-of-care ultrasound, and medical education.
