Dr. Aby Safieh is the Chief of Audiology at Sidra Medicine, with over 20 years of experience in diagnosing and managing complex hearing and balance disorders across all age groups. He is particularly recognized for his expertise in pediatric and syndromic cases, vestibular dysfunction, cochlear and osseointegrated implants, and audiological challenges related to oncology and genetic conditions.

At Sidra Medicine, Dr. Safieh leads several key initiatives, including newborn hearing screening programs and early intervention pathways, especially for NICU patients. Prior to joining Sidra Medicine in 2022, he served as Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator at the American University of Beirut, where he also supervised clinical training at the AUB Medical Center.

A committed educator, he trains audiologists, ENT residents, and students in evidence-based practice. Dr. Safieh has contributed to peer-reviewed publications and international conferences, focusing on multidisciplinary care models and advancing clinical audiology service delivery.
