Dr. Farhan Ali is the Division Chief of Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery at Sidra Medicine. He joined Sidra in 2021, following a decade-long tenure as a Consultant Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Ali specializes in managing a wide spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions in children, including developmental dysplasia of the hip, neuromuscular disorders, trauma, and sports injuries. He has a particular interest in limb lengthening and deformity correction. He completed his basic and higher surgical training in the UK and undertook pediatric orthopedic fellowships at both Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and Sheffield Children’s Hospital, where he served as a National Fellow.
Actively involved in teaching and clinical research, Dr. Ali is a faculty member for several international pediatric orthopedic training programs. His academic contributions include peer-reviewed publications, international presentations, and authorship of book chapters in the field.
