  • About the Physician

    Dr. Dilawar is a Pediatric Cardiologist who joined Sidra Medicine Heart Center in November 2017 as a Senior Attending Pediatric Cardiologist and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics.

    His clinical responsibilities include outpatient clinical service and inpatient service, i.e., covering the cardiology floor, Neonatal Intensive Care, Pediatric Intensive Care and Cardiac Intensive Care Units, and Emergency Department coverage. He also reads ECGs and transthoracic, trans-esophageal, and epicardial echocardiograms.

    Dr. Dilawar takes part in bi-weekly pediatric and adult congenital cardiac MDT cases and teaches and trains medical students, pediatric residents, and pediatric cardiology fellows.

    Alongside clinical work, he is responsible for administrative Outpatient Clinic work in the Heart Center and is an associate director of Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship.
