I was born in Davis, California, USA in 1968. I moved back to Syria with my parents, when I was just 3 years of age.
I was among the top ten to graduate from my high school in 1985
In 1991 I graduated as a Medical Doctor from Damascus university, faculty of Medicine.
I went back to USA and finished my equivalent exams and enrolled in Anesthesia Transitional program in Cook County hospital, Chicago, Illinois, 1996
In 2000, I successfully finished a three year residency program at the Department of Anesthesia, Loyal University Medical Center at Maywood, Illinois, USA.
In 2001 I successfully graduated from the pediatric Anesthesia fellowship program, at Mott children Hospital, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA.
2001-2003, I was a staff Anesthesiologist at Michigan’s Children Hospital at Detroit Medical Center, Michigan, USA.
2003-2005 I was a staff Anesthesiologist at Oakwood Hospital, Dearborn, Michigan, USA
In 2004 I was honored to receive the American board certification in Anesthesiology.
In 2005 I moved to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to work at King Faisal Specialist hospital as a consultant in Anesthesiology.
In 2015 I was honored to receive the American board certification in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
I joined Sidra Medicine in Doha, Qatar in 08/2017 until present.
I am married with four children.
I speaks Arabic and English fluently.
