Staff COVID-19 Vaccinations
Dear colleagues,
We are happy to inform you that 284 staff members have been vaccinated during the first three opening days of administering the COVID-19 vaccine. Youvrajsingh Beeharry is a clinical nurse in the DSU COVID center and was the first staff member to be vaccinated.
Please note that Unit 5C to be used by COVID Vaccination Team only. As of now the vaccines are administered by appointment only to book an appointment, visit the COVID Vaccination self-service portal registration page which is for Sidra Medicine staff only: http://services.sidra.org/covidreg. Priority will be given to staff in patient facing roles, however all are encouraged to voluntarily register their interest. You will be contacted directly when we open more appointments slots if you do not immediately qualify as a priority.
On the day of your appointment you will need to bring your Qatar ID and be prepared for a one hour visit time, including post vaccine observations and physician consultation if required. You will be asked to show your email confirmation to our registration staff, walk ins will not be accommodated.
We want to give a big thank you to the staff on the unit who are working beyond their normal duties and hours to provide this service for our employees. Please be respectful and polite in order for them to focus on their tasks.
