يُعد الدكتور وليد مبارك واحدًا من نحو مئة طبيب فقط حول العالم حاصلين على زمالة معتمدة في الأشعة التداخلية للأطفال. وهو مدرَّب في كل من الأشعة التداخلية للبالغين والأطفال، والتحق بسدرة للطب في عام 2018.
أكمل الدكتور وليد زمالة الأشعة التداخلية للأطفال في مستشفى سكِّ كيدز (SickKids) – جامعة تورونتو في كندا. ويشغل في سدرة للطب عدة مناصب قيادية تشمل: طبيب معالج أول، مدير برنامج زمالة الأشعة التداخلية للأطفال، والقائد السريري لخدمات الأشعة التداخلية للبالغين. كما يرأس لجنة الوصول الوعائي ويقود مجموعتي التطوير المهني المستمر (CPD) والتعليم الطبي المستمر (CME).
تشمل خبراته السريرية التدخلات الوعائية، تشوهات الأوعية الدموية، إجراءات مجرى الهواء، الأورام، والتدخلات للنساء والأطفال. كما يهتم بتحسين الجودة وتقليل المخاطر وتعزيز الرعاية التداخلية الدقيقة والمبتكرة.
