Health & Wellness Educator

Fatima is a licensed Health and Wellness Educator at Sidra Medicine, Qatar, with a deep commitment to advancing health literacy and patient education. With over a decade of experience, Fatima has played a pivotal role in planning and executing the Health Literacy Conferences at Sidra Medicine.

Fatima managed the patient education portfolio at Sidra Medicine, where she was responsible for integrating custom content into Cerner, and ensuring the alignment of patient education materials with the institution’s standards. She worked closely with healthcare professionals and external agencies to ensure the effectiveness, accessibility, and cultural relevance of the educational resources provided to patients and families. Fatima also facilitated the development, translation, and design of materials, ensuring they supported informed decision-making and enhanced patient outcomes. Fatima holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Qatar University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Patient Education from the College of the North Atlantic – Qatar ( now UDST). She also holds a Health Literacy Specialist Certificate. Throughout her career, she has worked with various healthcare stakeholders to improve patient outcomes and contribute to national health initiatives, including the development of the “National Injury Prevention Guideline” in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health.
