    At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

    • Understand the concept of immune control of tumor growth and immunotherapy;
    • Understand the importance and the potency of the immune system to recognize and kill tumor cells;
    • Learn the technologies to generate engineered lymphocytes for cancer immunotherapy;
    • To achieve knowledge of the clinical development of engineered lymphocytes for cancer therapy;
    • To understand patients’ toxicities associated with engineered immune cell therapies and available interventions for their control;
    • To gain knowledge on innovative technologies to increase the efficacy in targeting cancer cells.
