Dr Elbaage is an Adult Cardiologist and Intensivist with over 30 years of experience from the US. He worked in world-renowned US institutions like the Mayo Clinic Health System and Case Western University. He had his postgraduate in the UK, trained in the Royal Free Hospital and obtained the MRCP (UK) in 1984 and then moved to US where he did Internal Medicine Residency. Dr Elbaage also did 4-year fellowship in Adult Cardiology by Baylor sponsored program and worked as a Faculty Cardiologist at Case Western University in Cleveland, Ohio. He also did Critical Care and Pulmonary fellowship at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Dr Elbaage is US board certified. He worked in US Universities and big teaching hospitals. He held the positions of Director of Cardiology and Critical Care and Chief of Medicine in more than one institution. He trained Cardiologist in more than one country who is subspecializing in Echocardiography. Dr Elbaage subspecialized in Ech cardiograph and US boarded in Echo, TEE and held the position of Director of the Echo Lab. His interest in Critical Care is Hemodynamics in critically ill patients. He received several awards and was invited as external examiner for Board of Cardiologists specializing in Echo in some countries.
