About the Physician
Dr. Adappa joined Sidra Medicine in November 2017 and is a Senior Attending Physician in the Neonatal unit. He is currently the Medical Director for Education and Middle-Grade staff on the unit. He manages the education program and is the line manager for hospitalist doctors and nurse practitioners. He has expertise in databases and is part of the VON database team on the neonatal unit and is actively involved with analysis, supporting QI projects, and benchmarking.
He is the Chair of the Clinical Registry group, part of the Clinical effectiveness group. Under his leadership, the group has developed guidance for establishing clinical registries and support applications and plans to develop dashboards.
Before joining, Dr. Roshan Adappa was a Neonatal Consultant at the University Hospital of Wales (UHW), Cardiff, and was a Neonatal consultant in the UK for 11 years before joining Sidra Medicine.
