Dr Roona Aniapravan is an Attending Physician in Emergency Pediatrics at Sidra Medicine.
Dr Aniapravan did her training in Pediatrics at Great Ormond Street Hospital for children, Cambridge University Hospital and Royal Brompton Hospital, London. Dr Aniapravan is a RCPCH [Royal College of Pediatrics and child health] College tutor and MRCPCH Clinical Examiner.
Her areas of interest are Respiratory Pediatrics, Allergy, Sleep studies and General Pediatrics. Dr Aniapravan has 15 years of experience in Pediatrics in United Kingdom of that 6 years as a Consultant and Pediatric Respiratory Lead at Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust, UK.
Dr Aniapravan has been actively involved in Education throughout her career and has taught medical students from London and Cambridge University and also hosted MRCPCH Clinical exams at Ipswich Hospital where she has worked as Consultant Pediatrician.
Dr Aniapravan has been part of the East Anglia Network for Asthma in UK and set up pathways for Asthma Management plans, Education leaflets, set up Difficult asthma clinics and actively involved in the network for preventing and reducing Asthma Mortality. Her other areas of interest is Pediatric Allergy and Sleep Studies.
