Senior Attending Physician
Dr Osric B Navti is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists. He completed his postgraduate training in the UK obtaining his certificate of completion of Specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2006.
He completed subspecialty training in Maternal & Fetal Medicine at the University Hospitals Leicester NHS Trust in 2010 following which he was appointed consultant in Maternal & Fetal Medicine at the same institution.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr Navti was labour ward lead and has a strong interest in medical education. He was the undergraduate coordinator and examiner for the Obstetrics and Gynaecology block at the University of Leicester medical school. He was also Foundation training program director responsible for newly graduated doctors in his hospital. He has a strong interest in intrapartum care and led the bereavement services in his department.
Dr Navti participated in delivering “Live savings skills and essential obstetrics care” training in low resource areas with the Liverpool school of tropical medicine.
He has published articles in peer reviewed journals and authored chapters in text books including reference text book, High Risk Obstetrics.
