Dr. Mohammad Janahi received his MBBS degree from King Faisal University of Saudi Arabia and his residency training from Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar. He continued and completed his residency training in St. Luke's and Roosevelt hospital in New York, USA, then fellowship training in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey, USA from 1996-1999. In 1997, Dr. Janahi obtained his American Board of Pediatrics.
Currently, he is the Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Hamad Medical Corporation since November 2005 and Head of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases since 1999. He has been treating pediatric patients with various infectious diseases for the past 15 years. In addition, Dr. Janahi is an appointed Faculty member of Weill-Cornell Medical College in Qatar as Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics.
