Dr. Karen Lim joined Sidra Medicine’s Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 2018 as a Senior Attending Physician. She is the Associate Program Director of Sidra Medicine’s Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program. She also works in Sidra Medicine’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Outpatient Clinic.
Dr. Lim is double U.S. Board Certified in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She completed her Adult Psychiatry residency then her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship in 2010 at the University of California-Los Angeles, U.S.A. She is Korean-American. She has a broad multi-cultural experience, having worked in outpatient clinics, day hospitals, and inpatient units in the United States, New Zealand, and Singapore. She is interested in creativity and the mind and believes the practice of art and music can promote mental well-being and a healthy lifestyle in children and teenagers.
