Dr. Finza Latif is a senior attending physician at Sidra Medicine. She runs the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Inpatient Consultation-Liaison Service, which provides mental health assessment and treatment for medically ill children. She also serves as the Program Director for Sidra Medicine’s ACGME-I accredited Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship. Prior to joining Sidra, she helped build several programs to improve quality of care offered to children and adolescents admitted to the hospital for a medical illness.
Her specific expertise in this area involves development of clinical pathways for standardization of care. She lead the development of multiple pathways at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC and has published and presented nationally on this topic. In her role as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at George Washington University, she has mentored several medical students, residents, fellows and junior faculty and received multiple teaching awards.
