Clinical Nurse Leader

Tracy Simpson is the Shared Leadership Facilitator and Pathway to Excellence Lead at Sidra Medicine, Qatar. She trained as pediatric nurse at Queen’s University Belfast (2003) and has over 20 years of experience in pediatric nursing care, primarily within general pediatric medical-surgical care.

After relocating to Qatar in 2017, Tracy served as a Clinical Nurse Leader on a pediatric unit before transitioning into her current role, where she leads strategic initiatives to strengthen nursing governance, professional practice, and staff engagement aligned with international standards.

Tracy also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Healthcare Leadership and is currently completing her master’s degree at the University of Warwick. Her professional interests include shared decision-making and creating positive practice environments that improve both staff experience and patient outcomes.
