Jennifer Lugg

Child Life Specialist

Jen Lugg is a Certified Child Life Specialist with over 13 years of experience. Jen has a Master’s Degree in Community and Disability Studies and a Bachelor of Philosophy in Leadership Studies from Canada. She has worked at Sidra Medicine for 4 years as a Child Life Specialist II, currently supporting the Pediatric and Cardiac ICUs and Complex Care.

Jen’s previous experience also includes Hospice and Respite care, Surgery, Nephrology, and the Emergency Department. Jen is an advocate for teaching children about what is happening to them and why. She is passionate about meeting families where they are at while also educating patient and families about the benefits of understanding honest information about their medical journey.
