Insulin Pump and Diabetes Educator Specialist Deputy Head of Diabetes Education

Hamad Ali Al-Sharshani is an Insulin Pump and Diabetes Educator Specialist and the first Qatari male educator at Hamad Medical Corporation. He currently works in the Diabetes Technology Clinic, specializing in insulin pump therapy and advanced diabetes technologies.

As Deputy Head of Diabetes Education, he supports the leadership and development of diabetes education services at Hamad Medical Corporation.

He holds a Medicine (MD), a Bachelor of Medical Science (BSc), and a Master of Science in Diabetes Care and Patient Education (MSc DCPE).

He also served as the Course Representative for the MSc DCPE program at the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) from 2022 to 2025.
