Dr. Dima Abdulrahim

Assistant Professor of Public Health

Dr. Dima Abdulrahim M. Arafah is an Assistant Professor of Public Health at Qatar University and a mixed-methods researcher specializing in health services research, child and youth health, emergency preparedness, health education, and health policy. She holds a PhD in Primary Healthcare from the University of Exeter. Dr. Arafah serves as a Steering Committee Member of the WHO EMRO Youth Council. She was selected by the President of Qatar University to represent the State of Qatar at the United Nations Headquarters in New York during the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. She has also led Qatar University delegations to the WHO Global Model WHO in Geneva, Switzerland. Her work focuses on translating research into policy and practice, strengthening health systems, and empowering youth engagement in public health decision-making.
