Amar Seesarun is a Senior Specialist – Patient Safety Training at Sidra Medicine, with over 16 years’ experience in healthcare education, simulation-based learning, instructional design, and interdisciplinary program development. His work focuses on translating system risks, adverse event learning, human factors, and workforce development needs into structured education programs that support safer, more reliable care.

Amar has led enterprise-wide learning initiatives across clinical and operational settings, including patient safety education, simulation-based training, teamwork programs, debriefing, cause mapping, and continuous improvement activities. He holds an MSc in Medical and Healthcare Simulation, is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator, and is actively involved in strengthening safety culture, systems learning, and patient-centered outcomes.
