        Overview

        The in-person conference explores the topic of primary/genetic immune dysregulation from a multidisciplinary perspective, in collaboration with the MENAT-NIAID initiative. This marks the inaugural primary Immune Dysregulation conference to be hosted by Sidra Medicine in the State of Qatar. The lineup of invited speakers and the scientific committee comprises global authorities in the field, specifically featuring experts from the MENA region and the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).

        Physicians and scientists who are interested in this area are warmly welcomed to register.  Registration is free but will be limited, so be sure to register as soon as possible to reserve a seat.  This conference is most suited to basic/clinical researchers who are active in the field, and clinicians who take care of patients with inborn errors of immunity (IEI), also known as primary immunodeficiencies (PID). The event will also be of interest to physicians from a range of specialties who provide clinical care for these patients, including Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology, Pathology, Pulmonology, and Rheumatology. The conference will provide the latest updates for all those who wish to stay abreast of clinical and research developments in the field.

          Health Literacy Education Workshop


          Overview

          Becoming a health literate organization depends on many aspects. One of these aspects is educating staff to improve their health literacy skills and consequently improving patients’ health outcomes.  The health Literacy Education workshop is aimed at clinical staff from hospitals and clinics to enhance their knowledge as well as provide them with the necessary tools to overcome barriers.

          The workshop content is evidence based and some of the topics are adapted from the Agency for Healthcare and Research Quality (AHRQ). This activity is category 1 & 3 and attendees will receive CPD points.
