Born and bred in London, but spent all my early medical years moving around UK doing Physician training. Then saw the light and moved to Radiology! After completing my Radiology in Bristol, my family and I moved to Australia where I have been ever since. I have over 25 years of Public and Private radiology experience: initially as a consultant at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, and then as Specialist private radiologist in Ballarat, Victoria. Most recently, I was Professor/Director of Medical Imaging at the Canberra Hospital where I was significantly involved in developing a curriculum for undergraduate medical imaging at the Australian National University. My interest in MSK radiology is recognized as the founding member of AMSIG and as a member of the International Skeletal Society.
I am currently providing specialist radiology MSK services and Radiology resident teaching at the local hospitals in Doha. My interest in radiology education continues as Assistant (interim) Professor of Radiology at the Weill Cornel University (New York) where I continue to teach students at the WCMC Qatar campus in the Middle East. In addition, I am contributing a Medical Imaging program to the new medical curriculum at the Qatar University Medical College. I continue to actively participate in the Editorial boards of websites: Diagnostic Imaging Pathways and InsideRadiology.
