Division's Overview

The Division of Obstetrics at Sidra combines the use of current technology with women centered approach to pregnancy and childbirth. A dedicated team of experienced obstetric physicians and nurses using a full range of diagnostic imaging technologies including Ultrasound and Magnetic Resonance Imaging provides care to women.

Pre pregnancy counselling and prenatal diagnosis, including genetic screening, is part of our patient centered practice. Specialist clinics with a multidisciplinary team of obstetricians and internal medicine physicians provide care to women with complex medical disorders.

Our emphasis is on individualized care of the woman and infant with personalized physician attention and the use of the most up to date technologies. Our Obstetrician Teams participate in ongoing quality improvement and use the latest evidenced-based approaches to provide the best health care to mothers and their babies.
